Coolest Feature Story Ever

Ok, I have a new dream job. When I walked into the newest installment at the Chicago Children’s Museum and saw the fun and creative spirit that was more than present, I was overcome with what a blast they must have had dreaming up all of the different pieces! Kitty litter scoop snowflakes, a rawhide bone chandelier, kitty toys made out of bath poofs and of course the kid sized kitty tower to play in!

Everywhere you looked there were creative interpretations of kid-friendly pet supplies and interactive areas. A huge doghouse greets you and there are even big stuffed plush dogs, horses, and toys to play with. My little crawler and her date had a blast combing the puppies (and each other) and wiggling from toy to toy in this wonderland of fur. But don’t worry – it’s all of the fluff and none of the dander!

Even though this museum can get packed, I plan to go there at least once a month, and with the free parking that comes with the membership why wouldn’t I? I can bring guests with me and as long as there are 4 of us we don’t have to pay extra (we have a family four pack of membership) and the staff is always friendly, engaged and, ‘cause they have good sense, totally enamored with my adorable daughter.

We LOVED it!
